Bauer Far East had reached a productivity plateau. Collaboration was largely manual via phone and email, and users travelling around the region had difficulty logging into the corporate network at other locations. Overall, the infrastructure lacked resilience.

The Challenge
Bauer Far East, the Asia-Pacific arm of the MDAX-listed German Bauer Group, worked with Reppel to define a complete overhaul of the existing ICT infrastructure in the region. The project focused on changing the network systems and setup, the directory system and the collaboration suite used in the region. The company needed a regionally integrated network and collaboration platform to enable efficient information sharing.
The Solution
Based on the new platform, further business-enhancing technologies and productivity tools were implemented while change was managed locally. Due to the excellent business relationships, Bauer chose Reppel as regional CIO . Based on the CIO service, further landscape improvements were planned and implemented.
Customer Success
The streamlining of support and operational processes and the use of time-saving and parallel activities were coordinated by Reppel. As a result of the Advisory, a professional information and communication technology department was established. Bauer Far East now has a high level of integration, while the IT facility is based on cost-efficient, agile and scalable technologies, making the entire facility resilient.
